Diligio Compliance

FATF Recommendations, automated

Map your AML and counter-terrorist-financing controls to the Recommendations, with an agent to do the legwork and a human to certify.

  • Live today
  • Cross-mapped with ISO 27001
  • Agent-run, human-certified
  • EU data residency

The FATF 40 Recommendations are the international standard for anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist financing. Diligio Compliance holds your controls against them, so you can show which Recommendation each part of your programme satisfies, cross-mapped to the national rules and to your ISO 27001 and SOC 2 work.

What FATF 40 Recommendations is

The Financial Action Task Force is an intergovernmental body that sets standards and assesses countries against them through peer mutual evaluations. It does not license firms, issue certificates, or fine anyone.

Because countries write the Recommendations into national law, the Recommendations are not directly binding on a firm. The useful thing to be able to say in a due-diligence questionnaire is what you actually do, mapped to the Recommendation it satisfies, rather than claiming something FATF does not issue.

How Diligio Compliance helps

Controls mapped to the Recommendations

A control register organised against the Recommendations, each control with status, owner, proof, and last-reviewed date, so the mapping is a record rather than an assertion.

Risk-based approach, evidenced

Hold the risk assessment and the due-diligence tiers it drives alongside the controls, so the reasoning behind enhanced or simplified measures is written down and current.

An agent that proposes, a human that certifies

The agent proposes a status for every control with evidence cited; a person reviews the diff and certifies. Nothing becomes your attested posture without sign-off.

One answer, reused

Cross-mapped to BSA/AML and to your ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls, so one piece of proof does the job everywhere it applies, including in the questionnaires Diligio Respond answers.

Frequently asked questions

Can a company be FATF certified?

No. FATF does not certify or license firms. It sets the standard and evaluates countries. What a firm can do is show its controls against the Recommendations and against the national rules that implement them.

How do the Recommendations relate to BSA/AML?

BSA/AML is one national implementation of the standard. In Diligio Compliance the two are cross-mapped, so the programme work you do for the Bank Secrecy Act is reused against the Recommendation it satisfies.

Is FATF support available now?

Yes. The FATF Recommendations are live in Diligio Compliance, backed by their own control catalog. Talk to us and we will enable them and help you scope the mapping.
